As a minimum standard, Royal Mail is our preferred method of shipping on all orders. The order can be tracked through Your Account The Customer must check the purchase on delivery and any damage must be noted accurately, dated and signed on the delivery note. Bellina Chocolate House have no control over the shipping conditions, such as temperature, during the delivery of the order and so cannot accept responsibility for any damage to the chocolate caused by heat or pressure. Any claims of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery of the parcel. After this period, no claims will be accepted. Following an evaluation, and if accepted by Bellina Chocolate House, the Customer may choose between reimbursment or a repeat delivery of the order. Any return of a product must be formally agreed between the Customer and Bellina Chocolate House and should be returned within 48 hours of the agreement. Once received the agreed action will be taken.
Bellina Chocolate House does not store financial credit or debit card information. In the case of card payments, payment is not taken until the stock has been confirmed.
The pictures on http://www.chocolatehouse.co.uk are not contractual and the actual product delivered may differ from the image shown. If there are specific requirements then it is requested that the Customer makes a note of this requirement in the comments section during the order process. In the case of "Make Your Own Gift Box" products, if a particular chocolate is not in stock then an alternative will be made available or the quantity of the other chocolates selected will be adjusted accordingly. Unless specifically stated, ALL food and drink products featured may contain nuts and are not suitable for nut allergy sufferers.
Before an order can be accepted, it must be paid for in full. Once payment has been received, Bellina Chocolate House will confirm that the order has been accepted by sending the Customer an email at the email address provided during the order process. Customers are requested to complete the order form fully and accurately. Should there be any error, for example, in the details provided for the recipient or for the amount to pay, Bellina Chocolate House cannot be held responsible for the failure to deliver. Charges related to forwarding or reshipping the package to another recipient or to another delivery address will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Bellina Chocolate House will check and approve all orders before committing to the order. Orders may be dispatched within and up to 3 working days (not including Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays) depending on availability of stock. The Customer will be notified of any delays within 1 working day of placing the order. The right of withdrawal of 8 days does not apply to contracts for the supply of perishable food products such as chocolates. Modification to the order or cancellation by the Customer may be accepted whilst the order is being prepared only. In the case of cancellation, the charges will be refunded. However a discretionary fee may be applied for administrative cancellation charges. Once the order is packaged and handed over to the carrier, no modifications or cancellations may be acceped and the charges will not be refunded.
The order must be paid for in full to be accepted and processed. If payment is not made and confirmed then processing cannot begin. Payments through PayPal are made immediately. Payments through Barclaycard are authorised after the order has been processed and stock allocated. Prices do not include the delivery charges.
